Xavier Academy and Prospects Canada Development Program |

The program has been developed to offer a quality training environment for those serious young players who have chosen soccer as their sport of choice. The Xavier Academy Prospect program will expose players to an effective and comprehensive soccer program tailored especially for the U 14 level age group consisting of two phases of training periods leading to a third competition phase at an International tournament and training experience. The competition will involve Professional Academy teams in Italy as well as England including an International tournament during the tour.

The Senior Boys Soccer Academy traveled to Toronto Victoria Longweek weekend to compete in the Annual Top Rated Umbro Showcase Tournament. The tournament exposed our players to very competitive games with a number of College and University Scouts on hand to observe our players perform. The Academy competed against the number one and two ranked club teams in the province of Ontario but unfortunatly could not come out with a result in either game. Throughout the tournament there were a number of players who performed at top levels including grade 12 students Samuel Delfs, Kassim Khimji, David Agyeman, Stephen Wright, and Alex Alphonse. The Academy wishes the graduates all the best in the future.

Over 28 top girls teams from British Columbia and Alberta competed in the inaugural Whitecaps West Coast College Showcase at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey, BC. on March 5-7, 2010.
ST FX Soccer Academy completed the weekend tournament with a 3 wins and one loss. The female squad competed in 4 games in three days displaying a quality side against top Vancouver clubs. Wins against Vancouver FC, Vancouver Metro Ford, and CMF proved the weekend to be a success with a number of girls being identified by U.S. and Canadian colleges present at the competition.
